Safety is one of our core values
You’ll hear other lift truck companies talk about safety. But for Toyota, it’s more than just talk – it’s part of our culture. No other forklift company puts concern for the operator front and center like Toyota does. The proof is in Toyota’s #1 ranking in safety year after year, through independent studies conducted by Peerless Media Research Group.
Toyota partnered with Liftow to create a comprehensive operator safety training program with a combination of classroom and hands-on instruction. Using this program, Toyota Material Handling Solutions’ professional trainers provide your employees with the latest OSHA regulations, plus classroom and hands on instruction on proper lift truck operation. After all, any individual who operates a forklift is required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to undergo forklift operator safety training and to be certified on every different type of forklift an operator drives.
- Utilizes the SAFE-Lift training program developed by Toyota
- Features classroom and hands-on operator safety training by Toyota-certified instructors

IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE: For the safety of all training participants, we require that all attendees wear a face mask, practice social distancing and have their temperature taken prior to entering the building. All classroom and forklift surfaces will be disinfected before class and disposable gloves will be provided for all hands-on training.
