Forklift Service Technician
Location: Santa Fe Springs, California | Job Type: Full-Time, On Road
Pay: From $33.80 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Service Technician to join our Service Department team. This role includes a performance-based pay structure and competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair gasoline, LPG, electric, or diesel-powered forklifts
- Perform preventive maintenance and service inspections
- Determine whether work is required on-site or in-house
- Replace or repair worn parts, adjust brakes, and align wheels
- Maintain a clean service van and report any vehicle issues
- Complete service paperwork accurately and promptly
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of forklift or material handling service experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to read GPS directions and travel throughout the LA area
- Own tools and toolbox
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience with material handling or automotive equipment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unaided and operate heavy equipment/tools
- Physically able to drive a company van and interact with customers
- Must be able to read, write, and follow written directions

Schedule
- 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
- Day shift only — No weekends
